I am a former physicist turned Data scientist with machine learning experience in Python and R. After completing my Master of Science degree in physics at Illinois Institute of Technology I have decided to pivot into Data Science. I am excited to leverage the skills I employed in academia; namely problem-solving, research, mathematical modeling, and data visualization to produce comprehensive and illuminating reports on big data. In my spare time I like to tinker with hardware, read obscure fiction (The Once and Future King, Phantastes, Lilith), and watch wildlife footage.
These are some of my skills, take a look at the projects section to see how I've put them into action.
Here are some of the projects I've worked on. Click on the associated image to be taken to the repository on GitHub.

The Legend of Zelda and God of War are two of the most successful, and diametrically opposite, video game franchises of all time. In this project, I aim to train a model that can tell them apart using posts from Reddit.
Help Jimmy buy a house in my first foray into machine learning, with an emphasis on interpretation for a non- to semi- technical audiences.
